So I took Melanie (daangmel)’s advice and told myself “today’s gonna be a good day”.
I watched an episode and a half of Freaks & Geeks and then got ready for work repeating the saying because I was not excited about work.
But it actually went pretty well! No difficult customers, no major problems. I had a lot of fun with my coworkers and we joked around a lot today.
One of my coworkers asked me if I could stay an hour longer because she had a test in the morning and I said I would. Stay another hour so my friend could get some sleep before a big test the next morning? Yeah sure! The last hour was the easiest.
It really helped my attitude at work by being positive before I got there and when I arrived I was happy and ready to go. By the end of the night, I was really tired but still in a good mood. :)
